1. Overview
HiStory is an iOS app offering short facts and history stories. This policy explains what is processed, why, and how you can manage your choices.
2. Preferences
Your language, selected country, interests, unlocked items, saved stories, notification choice, and settings may be stored on your device. HiStory does not request precise GPS location.
3. Content and cache
Content may be delivered over a secure connection and recently loaded items may be cached for faster loading and limited offline access. Limited technical logs may be processed for security and diagnostics.
4. Advertising and consent
The free version may show Google AdMob banners and user-initiated rewarded ads. Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices before ads are requested. If ATT permission is declined, HiStory does not access the advertising identifier. Declining does not block free daily content.
5. Notifications
If you opt in, one local notification can be scheduled for 12:00 in your device's local time. You can disable it in iOS Settings.
6. Premium
The $2.99 monthly auto-renewable subscription is processed by Apple StoreKit and the App Store. It renews until canceled in App Store account settings. HiStory never sees or stores payment card or bank details.
7. Sharing and sale
HiStory does not sell personal information. Service providers process limited information only as needed for app operation, content, advertising, purchases, security, and legal compliance.
8. Children
HiStory is a general-audience app and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices
Manage notification and tracking permissions in iOS Settings, open advertising privacy choices inside HiStory, or remove device-stored data by deleting the app.
